The navigator in the upper right corner of the game area, allows you to view the discovered portion of the map, your own position on it but also that of the various nations and your troops.
The rectangular box that moves in the navigator each time you scroll on the map, corresponds to the scene displayed in isometric version in the game area.
It is also possible to zoom in on a particular point on the map in the navigator (left click) and select it (right click) to reach it directly in the map and display it in the game scene.
On the frame of the navigator we also find two icons: the banner refers to the location of the nation you belong to, clicking it allows you to return to your nation on the game scene, while the gear icon opens the settings panel.
